What Is Freecash?

Freecash is one of the biggest GPT (Get Paid To) sites out there today. You earn money by doing surveys, playing mobile games, signing up for apps, and other online tasks. Started in 2020 by Almedia (a German company), it has grown to over 60 million users and 272,000+ Trustpilot reviews with a 4.7/5 rating.

We’ve used Freecash for 6 years and earned over €600 from the Netherlands. This Freecash review comes straight from our own use, not guesswork.

Freecash Removed From App Store and Google Play

Update, April 2026:

Apple removed Freecash from the App Store on April 13, 2026. Google Play followed two days later on April 15. The mobile apps are no longer available for download. Freecash still works through the website at freecash.com.

The removal came after a TechCrunch report on how Freecash operates. Apple said the app broke its App Store rules on false marketing and data collection. The main issues were:

  • Misleading TikTok ads made by third-party affiliates that hinted users could earn up to $35/hour “scrolling TikTok,” which was not how the site really worked
  • A Malwarebytes report in January 2026 that found Freecash’s privacy policy allowed it to collect sensitive personal data, including health info and biometrics
  • Claims that it used members’ internet connections as part of a residential proxy network
  • An earlier App Store removal in June 2024, after which the app came back under a different developer account (256 Rewards Ltd)

Almedia CEO Moritz Hollaender spoke up in public. He said the misleading ads came from third-party affiliates, not Almedia, that the company follows GDPR and does not sell user data, and that Almedia is “reviewing the situation” with the app stores. The company called itself “misunderstood” and pointed to over $300 million paid out to users so far.

Freecash’s own support page now says the Android app is “off the market until further notice.” So far there’s no sign the apps will return to either store. Apple shut down the developer account for good, which makes a return to iOS unlikely.

What This Means for Users

If you already have the app, it may keep working for now, but it won’t get updates. New users have just one route, the web version at freecash.com, which has the same offers, payouts, and features. Our earnings and withdrawals through the website have worked fine since the removal.

The removal raises fair questions about how Freecash handles data and marketing. It’s worth reading the updated “Is Freecash Safe?” section below, where we cover what this means for your data and account.

How Does Freecash Work?

Freecash pulls earning tasks from many offer wall providers into one place. You earn coins for doing tasks, and those coins turn into real money at a simple rate of 1,000 coins = $1.00.

The platform offers several ways to earn:

  • Game offers: get paid to play mobile games and reach specific levels
  • Surveys: paid opinion surveys from multiple providers
  • App signups: register for crypto apps, banking apps, or free trials
  • Offer walls: various tasks from 10+ different providers
  • Casino offers: deposit-based offers (high risk, high reward)

What We Like After 6 Years

Huge Selection of Game Offers

Freecash has over 26,000 game offers. We’ve done Idle Miner Tycoon, Rise of Kingdoms, Raid Shadow Legends, Palworld, Animals & Coins, Domino Dreams, and many more. Game offers are fun and pay well, since you get paid to play. Several users on r/beermoneyglobal say the range of offers is one of Freecash’s biggest strengths, with one noting they were “four months in and still hadn’t run out of things to do.”

The best ones are Freecash exclusives on the homepage. These often ask for just daily logins and have fair in-game goals, which makes them great for casual earners.

Multiple Offer Walls

Freecash partners with over 10 offer wall providers, each with different tasks and pay rates. From our experience:

  • Ayet Studios: our go-to for game offers, consistently good payouts
  • Torox (formerly OfferToro): wide variety of tasks, used it extensively
  • yoursurveys: best survey provider for us in the Netherlands
  • TimeWall: great transparency (shows estimated time, completion rate, and earning potential per offer)
  • Lootably: versatile, includes shopping and quizzes alongside standard offers
  • CPX Research, BitLabs, Pollfish, Inbrain: additional survey providers
  • AdGateMedia: mobile-focused offers

The same offer sometimes shows up on several walls at different prices. Always check a few first, since you could earn 50% more for the same task.

Some offer walls run standing +50% bonus deals. As we write this, AdGate, Ayet Studios, and Torox all show a +50% badge. Keep in mind that these “bonuses” may already be baked into the price shown, so don’t assume you always get a special deal. Compare the real payout across walls before you start an offer.

Crypto and Banking Signups Pay the Most

The best-paying offers we’ve done were crypto app signups and banking app signups. These usually need a KYC check and sometimes a small deposit, but they pay much more than game offers per hour of effort.

Surveys: Sort by Highest Reward

When it comes to surveys, we skip anything that pays less than €0.50. Sort by “Highest reward” and focus on the top-paying options. A €1.48 survey that takes 20 minutes is worth your time. A €0.20 survey that takes 10 minutes is not. The key metric is coins per minute: a 12-minute survey paying €1.09 (about €0.09/min) beats a 20-minute survey paying €1.48 (about €0.07/min).

Fast and Flexible Payouts

Payout speed is where Freecash stands out. PayPal withdrawals arrive within minutes and crypto is often instant. Freecash offers a wide range of withdrawal options:

Freecash cashout page showing withdrawal options: Stake, PayPal, Amazon, Apple, Visa Prepaid, Bank Transfer, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Solana, and Dogecoin
  • PayPal: minimum €2.50, processed within minutes
  • Bank Transfer: minimum €2.50, takes 1-2 business days
  • Amazon gift cards: minimum €2.50
  • Apple gift cards: minimum €2.50
  • Visa Prepaid: minimum €2.50
  • Crypto: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Solana, Dogecoin (starting at $0.50)
  • Stake: starting at $0.25 (+15% bonus)

PayPal and bank transfer withdrawals carry a 5% fee. On smaller amounts ($5-20), there’s also an extra $1 PayPal consumer fee. For example, a $5 withdrawal nets you $3.75 after fees. At $100, you get $95. Crypto withdrawals have no fees, so they cost you the least if you’re happy to use crypto.

We mostly cash out via PayPal through Tremendous, and it has always worked well. We’ve also pulled out Litecoin and used Visa prepaid cards with no issues.

Good Customer Support (When You Need It)

We once had a casino offer that didn’t credit even though we met every rule. We sent a support ticket with screenshots as proof, and Freecash paid us out by hand. That was a very solid response and built a lot of trust.

Streak Rewards and Daily Bonuses

Freecash has a streak reward system that pays you bonus coins for earning consistently. You just need to earn at least €0.01 per day to keep your streak alive. The rewards scale up: you can earn up to €9.09 per day and up to €909.09 every 7 days if you maintain a perfect streak. It’s a nice incentive to log in daily.

There are also daily rewards for game offers. Some games give you bonus payouts just for logging in on different days. For example, one offer pays €0.04 for playing 7 days, €0.43 for 15 days, and €1.07 for 30 days. These are small amounts, but they add up as a reliable and passive income source alongside the main offer payout.

XP System and VIP Chat

Every cent you earn on Freecash gives you 10 XP. You need 1,000 XP to level up, which works out to exactly €1 earned per level. The main perk is that level 100 unlocks the VIP chat on Freecash’s Discord server. It’s a smaller, tighter group where seasoned earners share tips and swap tactics.

Freecash Academy: Free Guides and Resources

Freecash runs its own Academy, a hub with game guides, earning tips, and success stories from real users. If you’re about to start a new game offer, it’s worth a look first. They have walkthroughs for popular games like Rise of Kingdoms, Raid Shadow Legends, Monopoly Go, and dozens more. This can save you hours of trial and error and help you tell if an offer is doable before you sink in your time.

The Academy also has success stories from active earners. Users like James ($900/month from games), Leroy ($250/month through the affiliate program), and Simon ($255/month) share how they use Freecash and what works for them. Take these numbers with a grain of salt, but they paint a useful picture of what’s possible with steady effort.

What Could Be Better

Some Offers Don’t Track

This is probably our biggest gripe, and it’s one of the most common complaints on Reddit too. Now and then you’ll finish an offer, do everything right, and it just doesn’t credit. One user on r/beermoneyglobal said a $53 offer never credited and took a support ticket to fix. It’s hard to tell if the fault sits with Freecash or the offer wall, since Freecash hosts the offers but doesn’t run them itself.

Always Take Screenshots

When this happens with a high-paying offer, it stings. Screenshot every step of an offer so you have evidence for a support ticket if something doesn’t credit.

Casino Offers Are Risky

Casino offers promise high payouts but need big deposits, sometimes €50 or more. We’ve had mixed luck. Sometimes they pay, sometimes they don’t even when you meet every rule. Unless you’re fine with the risk and log every step with care, we’d skip casino offers for good.

Unrealistic Offer Requirements

Some offers look great on paper, like €30 or more for a mobile game, but ask you to hit very high levels within a 30-day limit. For many, that level is close to impossible in the time you get. Don’t always chase the highest reward. Pick offers you can actually finish.

Referral Program Was Nerfed

Freecash used to have a great affiliate system where you earned a cut of what your referrals kept earning. If you had active referrals doing lots of offers, this could add up to a nice passive income stream. But about 2 years ago they changed the system. Here’s how it works now:

Freecash referral program showing 2.50 euro per friend invite and 10 euro bonus on first withdrawal
  • €2.50 per referral: you receive €2.50 for every friend that signs up through your link and installs a game. Your friend gets €10 as a welcome bonus.
  • €10 bonus on first cashout: you receive an extra €10 when your friend makes their first withdrawal.
  • Up to €12.50 per referral in total.

It’s a decent one-time reward, but the old system was much better since you earned ongoing cuts from what your referrals did. That said, Freecash often runs short-term deals that bump up the referral bonuses. Keep an eye out for those, since that’s the perfect time to invite someone you know.

5% Fee on PayPal Withdrawals

Every PayPal and bank transfer withdrawal has a 5% fee. On smaller amounts ($5-20), PayPal also adds a $1 consumer fee. So a $5 withdrawal only nets you $3.75. For comparison, CashInStyle charges 0% on PayPal withdrawals. If this bugs you, use crypto withdrawals on Freecash instead, since those have no fees at all.

First Withdrawal Has a Higher Minimum

Your very first withdrawal has a $20 minimum balance and may need an ID check. This is a one-time thing, but it means you need to put in some time before your first payout. After that, minimums drop to €2.50.

How Does Freecash Compare on Payouts?

At Beermonify, we use the TimeWall withdrawal rate to compare GPT sites. TimeWall shows exactly how much of the advertiser’s payment a site passes to you. Offer prices move around and shift with bonuses, but the TimeWall rate shows each site’s base revenue share.

Platform TimeWall rate Revenue to users Platform cut
CashInStyle 1000 = $0.90 90% 10%
Freecash 1000 = $0.75 75% 25%
Gemsloot 1000 = $0.73 73% 27%
Gain.gg 1000 = $0.70 70% 30%
EarnLab 1000 = $0.70 70% 30%

Freecash keeps about 25% of advertiser revenue. That’s more than CashInStyle (10%) but less than some rivals. Keep in mind that single offerwall rates can differ from this base rate because of deals and bonuses. The 5% PayPal fee on top makes Freecash one of the pricier sites to cash out from.

Is Freecash Safe?

This question needs a more careful answer after the April 2026 app removals. Freecash is run by Freecash GmbH (formerly Almedia GmbH), a registered company based in Germany. They’ve been going since 2020 and have grown to over 60 million users. On Trustpilot, they hold a 4.7/5 rating from more than 272,000 reviews, one of the highest scores in the GPT space.

We’ve used Freecash for 6 years and earned over €600 with no payment issues. Every withdrawal we’ve asked for, whether PayPal, crypto, or Visa prepaid, has gone through as expected. The web platform still works fine, and payouts are still going out.

Still, the app store removals raised fair concerns. The Malwarebytes report found that Freecash’s privacy policy allowed it to collect sensitive data types (health, biometrics, sexual orientation) that go past what a GPT site really needs. Almedia says it follows GDPR and does not sell user data, but the broad reach of their data policy is worth knowing about. If you keep using Freecash, we’d cash out earnings often and hand over no more personal info than you must.

VPN and Ad-Blocker Bans

Like all GPT platforms, Freecash will ban accounts that use VPNs or ad-blockers while completing offers. Offer walls rely on tracking to verify completions, and anything that interferes with that tracking puts your account at risk. Disable your VPN and ad-blocker before starting any offer.

When Offers Don’t Track

Offer tracking issues are common across all GPT sites. Advertisers use third-party tracking to confirm you finished an offer, and sometimes that tracking breaks. Here’s how to cut down on problems and what to do when they happen.

Before Starting an Offer

  • Disable your ad-blocker completely (not just paused)
  • Disable any VPN or proxy
  • On iOS, go to Settings > Safari > Privacy and turn off “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”
  • Use Chrome for the best tracking compatibility
  • Click through to the offer directly from the Freecash platform, never from a bookmarked or copied link

If an Offer Doesn’t Credit

  • Wait 24-48 hours. Some offers take time to check and credit, especially game offers that look at your level progress
  • Contact the offer wall provider first (Ayet Studios, Torox, etc.) through their built-in support ticket system
  • If the offer wall can’t sort it out, contact Freecash support directly with screenshots of your completion

How Much Can You Realistically Earn?

Based on our 6 years of experience from the Netherlands:

  • Casual (15-30 min/day): €1-3 per day, mostly from surveys
  • Regular (1 hour/day): €3-7 per day, mixing surveys and game offers
  • Focused on high-value offers: €10-20+ per day when doing crypto signups or well-paying game offers
  • Our total after 6 years: €600+ with on-and-off casual use

Your earnings lean heavily on your country (Western Europe and North America get the most offers), how much time you put in, and which kinds of tasks you focus on. Users on r/beermoney say most steady earners make $35-85 per month with regular daily use.

Essential Tips From 6 Years of Experience

  1. Be realistic about offers. Don’t always go for the highest payout. A €10 offer you can complete in 3 days beats a €30 offer that’s impossible in 30 days.
  2. Check Reddit before starting an offer. Search r/beermoney and r/freecash for the specific offer. Other users share whether it’s achievable and how long it actually takes.
  3. Screenshot everything. Especially for high-paying or risky offers. If something doesn’t credit, you’ll need proof for your support ticket.
  4. Compare offer walls. The same game offer can pay 50% more on one wall than another. Check Ayet Studios, Torox, and others before starting.
  5. Start with Freecash exclusives. The featured offers on the homepage usually have the best effort-to-reward ratio.
  6. Crypto and banking signups pay the most. If you’re comfortable with KYC verification, these are the fastest way to earn.
  7. Cash out regularly. Don’t let large balances sit. Withdraw once you hit the minimum.

Community Highlights

Freecash is one of the most talked-about GPT sites on r/beermoney and r/beermoneyglobal. Here are two standout takes that sum up the mood well:

“Freecash has this massive thing down to a science. Four months in and I still get surprised and have not run out of things to do yet, at roughly $750 in just the last 30 days.”
u/thecrydent on r/beermoneyglobal (116 upvotes)
“They hold the right to ban you for weird reasons. Like unidentifiable identification, after you’ve already verified.”
u/rawrrr4200 on r/beermoneyglobal (53 upvotes)

The pattern lines up with our own use. Freecash works well for most people, but it’s not without friction. Cash out often and keep a record of your progress.

What You Should NEVER Do

These will get you permanently banned

Multiple accounts: Even a sibling on the same IP address counts. Both accounts will be banned. No exceptions.

VPN usage: Freecash tracks this closely and bans instantly.

Game cheats or exploits: If earnings look unrealistic, withdrawals get flagged and you may need additional ID verification.

Freecash Alternatives

Freecash is a great all-rounder, but it’s not the only choice. Here are the other GPT sites we’ve reviewed, each with their own strengths.

  • CashInStyle (4.3/5): the highest revenue share we’ve seen at 90%, with fee-free PayPal withdrawals from just $2.00. A solid pick if PayPal fees on Freecash bug you.
  • Gemsloot (4/5): 18 offer walls and a dollar-based coin system, so you always know what you’re earning. Crypto minimums start at $0.50.
  • Gain.gg (3.8/5): $0.50 crypto minimums with zero withdrawal fees, and a 7+ year track record in the beermoney space.
  • EarnLab (3.5/5): 24/7 live chat support and CS2 skin withdrawals for gamers. Use with care, as their Trustpilot page is suspended right now.
  • AttaPoll (4/5): a beginner-friendly mobile survey app with a $3 minimum payout and instant PayPal. Best for casual earnings on your phone.

For the best results, run two or three sites side by side. Offer prices vary from site to site, and backups mean you can always pick the highest-paying one for each task.

!
Bottom Line: 3.5/5

Freecash still works and still pays out. After 6 years and €600+ earned, we can confirm the core site does its job. But the April 2026 app store removals, data harvesting worries, and ban evasion history make it harder to back without a few caveats. If you use Freecash, stick to the web version, cash out earnings often, and think about spreading your time across a few sites.

If you want a safer pick, CashInStyle (4.3/5) pays more on many of the same offers with lower fees. Gemsloot and AttaPoll are solid choices too. Join our Discord community for tips on which sites and offers are worth doing right now.
